At our small hobby farm, we are lucky enough to live with a pack of wonderful plush, longhair, and long stock coated German Shepherd dogs. We choose dogs with characteristics that make them wonderful companions that we hope to enjoy for a long time.
Good health, temperament, intelligence and trainability are paramount. Our dogs are raised as members of our pack; sleep in our bedroom; and receive the kind of attention and training that make our pack one of the greatest joys in our lives. Most of our dogs are young, and we may consider breeding those that mature to become German Shepherds that we are truly proud of.
We also have a small herd of Navajo-Churro and Shetland Sheep, Nigerian Dwarf goats, and a miniature horse. In addition to providing a flock for our dogs to herd, in 2009 we will begin to breed our ewes. We should have a few pet lambs with wonderful fleece available to good homes each year.
Finally, our pack includes three rescued terriers of various sizes, that we consider honorary GSDs. We occasionally have rescue puppies and dogs available for adoption to the best of homes. If you have a loving home and can help out a dog like one of these, let us know.
Thank you for visiting! Please join us again as we see where this new farm takes us.
